Mother cakes peddler

A young man go into a small diner. He then order food. Not so long after, his order is ready.
When he wanted to enjoy his food, there came a small boy peddle his cake, “Sir, would you like a cake, sir?” With friendly answer, the young man which is eating his food answered, “No, thanks, I am eating.”
The boy did not despair, he did not give up.

The boy waited until the young man finish his meal.
Then the boy offering again his cake.
“Sir, want to buy cake, sir?”
The young man answered, “No, little brother, I just had my meal. I am already full.”

Then, the young man pay his meal to the cashier and go away from the eatery diner.
The boy cake seller following the young man.
It is almost a whole day he is selling his Mother’s cake.
He did not give up on his business.

The boy then thinks, “I will try again to sell this cake to that young man. Who know that this cake could be his gift for his family.”
What is done by that small boy is the persistent effort to help his mother through all their simple life.

When the young man went out from the same eatery diner.
The boy cake peddle offered his cake again for the third time, “Sir, want to buy my cake?”
This time, the young man feel annoyed to reject.
Then, he spent $10 bucks from his wallet and gave to that boy as a charity.

The young man said, “Here, take this money.”
He then also said, “I am not buying your cake. Treat this money as my donation for you, little brother”

The boy received the money and then gave to a beggar who is beggaring on the corner of the street.
The young man astonished and said in heart, “What the hell is this boy doing? I gave him money, he then gave to other people?”
He said to the boy, “Why you gave that money to that beggar? Why don’t you just take it?”

The higgler cake boy smile cutely then answered…
“I have been promised with my Mother that I am selling these made by my Mother cakes, not becoming a beggar.”
“The money I will give to my Mom is from my work hard.”
“My Mother does not like me become a beggar.”

The young man impressed with the spoken words from that higgler cake small boy.
The boy who in small age and it still small but already understand about work ethic.
That is, working is an HONOR.

The honorary of that boy will be reduced in front of his mother, if he is not working hard and not successfully selling cakes.
And, it is a challenge for his mother if his child become a beggar.
Every time go home, the boy wants to see his mother smiling welcoming his return and Mother’s smile which is sincere.
The boy recompense all of those with his best work hard and earn money.

Last but not least, the young man buy all of the cakes.
Not because of feel pity of that boy, not because of hungry.
But because of his principle that working is an honor, it’s a respect, it’s a prestige, it’s a compliment.
He will get money if he is already working good.

Hopefully the above story can bring and aware us about the importance of working.
Not just for the money only.
Do not let our eyes become green because of money, so then forget what is the importance of pride and success which we do have.
No matter how small is your effort, if we do it seriously and sincerely, it surely has very meaningful things inside.
