Poor carpenter man and nobleman

Actually we are so poor, how poor people live. How seems poorer we are if we don’t have any wise even we are a nobleman. Let’s see this story, hope we can learn something from here…

It’s a story that there is a poor man who is looking money for living by just collecting firewood then sell it in the market. The money he got just enough to eat.

Furthermore, sometimes the money he got is not sufficient for his needs. However, he is known as the most patient person in his environment.

One day, as usual he go to a forest to collect firewood. After a while he succeeded collect a big bunch of timber firewood. He then carry it on the shoulder while walking to the market. Arriving at the market, it was very full of people and very crowded.

Because he was afraid that the tip of the firewood which is pointed quite sharp on his shoulder will tapering someone, he then yelled out, “Go away…give away!Firewood man want to get through.”

The people were then give away to him and so that they would not affected by the tip of the timber. Meanwhile, he continued to yell out to remind people. Suddenly, there was a rich nobleman walking through in front of him regardless the poor guy reminder to “give away”.

So that the nobleman surprised and no more time to avoid the poor guy. As a result, the tip of the timber is punch into the nobleman clothes and tear out the clothes. So the clothes a little bit damage and broken. The peeress instantly angry to the poor guy, and not considering the circumstances that firewood seller.

Not satisfied with that, the nobleman then drag the poor guy to the judge. He want to claim compensation about the damage on the shirt.

Arrived at the judge, that rich man told the story about what happened as well as telling what is the purpose of his coming with the poor guy. The judge then said, “Maybe he does not mean it, it’s not deliberately.” The nobleman oppugn. Meanwhile the poor guy is just keep silent and speechless.

After the judge proposed all the possibilities which the nobleman just oppugn all of the reasons from the judge, finally the judge asked a question to the carpenter man.

However, every time the judge asked, the poor guy says nothing, does not answer anything, speechless and just silent. After asking some questions without any answers, the judge finally said to the nobleman, “Maybe this person is dumb, so that he could not remind you when you guys were in the market.”

The nobleman starting quite indignant to hear the judge words. He then said, “Impossible!! He does not dumb Oh My Judge. I heard a yell out in the market. He is impossible a dumb person!” said the nobleman with the tone a little emotional.

“The point is I still want to claim compensation!!” he added.

With calm and smile, the judge said, “If you heard he was yelling out, then why you did not listen to him? Why you did not give away for him?”

“If he already warned you, that means he is not guilty. It is YOU that not considering his warning.”

After the decision of that judge, the nobleman only can be silent and confused. He then realize that his words appeared to be boomerang for him. Finally, he then just go and leave the judge. And, the carpenter man also go and leave.

He survived from accusations and claims from the nobleman just by silent and speechless.

P.S.: Nothing will go wrong if we do nothing, but sometimes also nothing will go wrong if we don’t say anything…
